Brace yourselves, Adobe fans. This one's a doozy. So many updates, so little time… We've got a sneak peek of all the products that will be making waves in 2019 from the Illustrator team. The next version of this must-have design software is coming soon and it's going to change everything you think you know about illustration workflows. Adobe is working to improve and refine this product and we're going to share the changes we've made. Let's dive in! [/LIST] Adobe has announced that they will be launching a $1/month subscription model for their cloud-based development tools (Cloud, XD, and Creative Cloud). This represents a stark contrast to their alternate options like Creative Cloud Starter ($49.99/month) and the now-defunct Adobe Premier ($49.99/month). This new subscription service will allow users access to all 3 applications (Classic CC, Sketch CC, and XD CC) without having to pay the Adobe Creative Cloud Standard ($19. 99/month) subscription. They also intend on providing more of a direct line of communication between users and Adobe regarding updates, bug fixes, new features, etc. Projects are now able to be hosted in the cloud without having to be hosted locally. This allows for both collaboration and more freedom for users who are not local to their team's office space. These plans were announced at the Photoshop World Conference in Orlando. Adobe has launched Illustrator 21 with a number of new features and enhancements: Adobe has launched Adobe XD, the next generation of their revolutionary design tool for web and mobile. The release of this new feature makes it easy to create beautiful animations using Illustrator CC such as simulated 3D typography (like the BTReal typeface). You can edit vector shapes into animations that include "motion" such as waving hands, fading text, splashing water, etc. Other notable changes within Illustrator 21 include: Adobe XD has been released as a public beta. The application allows users to design responsive websites and mobile apps. It is currently free to use with an option to upgrade to a paid subscription later on as the product continues to grow and evolve as the industry demands. Users can now sync their files from InDesign CC or InCopy CC directly into Adobe XD, which will make it easy for them to edit the page's design in the service's web editor without having to use another program. This feature will be included in a future release for Illustrator CC.Adobe has announced that there will be a beta version of Photoshop CC released "in early 2019. cfa1e77820
